The Edit: Khudrang

"Khudrang", literally meaning "self-colour" denotes the colour of pashmina that is natural to the pashmina goat. This may range between shades of beige and taupe and, occasionally, alabaster and cream. This edit of DIL SAAZII features shawls that are 100% organic. They are handwoven of 100% pashmina fibre, undyed spun by hand into yarn, making them even more traditional in craft and special to touch.

The fibres are handspun into yarn and then handwoven on traditional wooden shutter loom of Kashmir

product care

Hand-wash in lukewarm water with a mild shampoo. After rinsing out the shampoo, remove the excess water by pressing gently between the palm of your hands; do not wring. Lay it flat to dry, not in direct sunlight. Iron at low temperatures.

For dark colours, it is normal for some excess colour to wash off during the first few washes. 100% cashmere products usually pile the first few months, think of it as a cleansing process to remove any excess hair.
