MERLOT DORUKHA Pashmina

MERLOT DORUKHA Pashmina

The Edit : The Dorukha -

Double-layer interlock weave:  two distinct looks in one handcrafted piece
Unlike a standard single-layer pashmina, this style of pashmina uses a dual-warp and dual-weft interlock system. This effectively means two layers of the pashmina are simultaneously woven on the same loom, but interconnected at strategic intervals to form
a single unified textile.

This weaving technique is reserved for the most experienced master weavers, as it requires simultaneously managing two sets of warp and weft threads without compromising softness, alignment, or structure.

product care

Hand-wash in lukewarm water with a mild shampoo. After rinsing out the shampoo, remove the excess water by pressing gently between the palm of your hands; do not wring. Lay it flat to dry, not in direct sunlight. Iron at low temperatures.

For dark colours, it is normal for some excess colour to wash off during the first few washes. 100% cashmere products usually pile the first few months, think of it as a cleansing process to remove any excess hair.
